Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Poetry is Life Coaching! All clients are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. Thank you for your understanding.

This Coaching Agreement is between Tiffanie Thornton (“Coach”), Poetry is Life (“Business”), and the individual receiving coaching services (“Client”).

How we work together:

-By purchasing this package the Client agrees that the employ Tiffanie Thornton as a Coach for the purposes of promoting the Client’s starting journey in accordance with the Client’s personal agenda. The service to be provided is coaching, which is not advice, therapy, nor counseling. Coaching may address specific personal aspects that are needed for improvement in the Client’s life. Coaching is a designed alliance that helps bring out the best in the Client and helps the Client create and live the life they want to live.

-Throughout the working relationship, the Coach will engage in direct and personal conversations. The Client can count on the coach to be honest and straightforward in asking questions and making requests. The Client understands that the power of the coaching relationship can only be granted by the Client, by being open and honest and playing full out. If the Client believes that coaching is not working as desired, the Client will immediately communicate that to the Coach, and both will take action to remedy the situation.

Confidentiality:

In our calls and in person meetings information shared by the Coach and/or the Client will be kept strictly confidential. The Client’s identity or details that could identify the Client will never be disclosed without the Client’s express written permission. Recording coaching sessions is not allowed.

The Coach will break confidentiality and alert the appropriate authorities if the Client gives reason for the Coach to believe that he or she will cause harm to themselves or others.

Disclaimer:

As stated above, I, as the Client, hereby employ Tiffanie Thornton and Poetry is Life as a Coach for the purpose of promoting my continued self improvement and personal growth. I understand that Tiffanie Thornton cannot guarantee my future performance, my ability to demonstrate new skills, or my ability to attain the outcomes I desire, as I am fully responsible for my results. 

I understand that Tiffanie Thornton is not a psychologist, therapist or an employment agent. She will not perform or is obligated to any other practices outside of the contract and this document.

I hereby certify that I do not suffer from any physical or mental disability that might affect my participation in the coaching process, and, if I have any substance abuse problem or mental illness, I have consulted with my physician and other health care professionals and been advised that I may participate in the coaching process without risk. I agree that if there is any change in this representation, I will promptly advise the Coach.

I hereby agree that in the event of any claim or grievance by myself against Tiffanie Thornton, or Poetry is Life, my sole remedy will be the return of the fees paid to Tiffanie Thornton, or Poetry is Life. Tiffanie Thornton, or Poetry is Life is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages beyond the total amount of fees paid by the Client.

I understand that this document contains all the information given to me by Tiffanie Thornton, or Poetry is Life, and all other representations or statements (prior or subsequent, whether oral or written) are superseded by this agreement. 

Additional Information:

Rescheduling calls/in person meetings:

If you need to reschedule, please notify Coach as soon as possible, preferably 24 hours in advance.

No shows:

If in person meeting its essential for Client to arrive early to ensure an on time start. Whether a call or in person session Coach will wait five minutes from start time. If Client doesn’t not call or text the Coach, they will forfeit their session.

Refunds:

There is a 25% non refundable deposit. After first month a 75% refund is granted if not satisfied. Coach must be notified within 30 days in writing for the refund.
